Red - 52 Week Project

This week's theme was red. There are plenty of red walls throughout town that I had thought about visiting with one of my gang, but the temperatures have been too brisk (negative numbers anyone?). So to keep the dogs from freezing their cute little paws up, I needed to come up with another idea.

Lightbulb. One of my red hoodie sweatshirts, a red plaid scarf and viola the makings of a red themed session! Also a huge shout out to my friend Dennis for borrowing me a pair of flashes! They were super handy for this shoot, though I still haven't mastered them completely...

The blanket Bender is laying on belongs to my boyfriend (it has been commandeered by the dogs). It was perfect for the shoot and even features yellow and chocolate labradors! 

The hoodie wasn't working as well as I had hoped, so off it came so Bender could rock the plaid scarf.

And since there were treats involved, Icey wanted to join in! And yes my couch is a burnt rusty orange color. It is another item the dogs have commandeered! Luckily they are cute enough to get away with it!
