Gunner loved the snow, though he wanted to swim in the half frozen pond! He was happy to chase his frisbee or stuffed bird in-between all of the sniffing and wrestling with Dakota. His copper color was amazing and popped against the snow and trees. Between his sniffing and running full out in the snow, he'd coming barreling towards me (ah running doggy faces!) to plop down for some pets and back scratches, as though he was trying to keep me involved in the fun! He was such a hoot!
Like his bigger brother, Dakota also loved being in the snow! The first thing he did was dive off the path and wiggle around in the snow on his back. This was repeated several times and always with great gusto and a happy face. After a couple of pictures he was happy as a clam to be off leash and sniffing around at all the trees and trying to eat all of the sticks! The best part was watching him bounce through the snow, legs and ears flying as he'd race towards me!
I loved shooting this silly pair in the snow! And perhaps I'll get a chance to photograph them when the landscape is a little more green! Thank you Gunner and Dakota for the fun and awesome pictures!
