Hair of the Dog Workshop

In February of this year, I attending a fabulous workshop in Florida hosted by Nicole Begley of Nicole Begley Photography and Hair of the Dog Blog. It was a week long adventure in the warmth (70s and 80s vs the classic negative temps of Feb in Minnesota!) learning about business things, photographing some local pups and meeting a wonderful group of women from various states all a various points of starting and growing their businesses.

 When we weren't learning or lounging we were photographing a collection of awesome dogs. Hershey was our first model, and she was a pro!

The following day we had an evening shoot with Bear, Honey and Harley!

We paired up for a morning session with a collection of pups and I was lucky to be entrusted and to photograph the wonderful pair of dachshunds owned by Paola! Mini Cooper (who is a doxie mix) and Pixie were awesome models on the beach!

I'm so glad I had got to experience this workshop! I can't wait to implement all the things I've learned as well as see how my workshop comrades grow with their skills!
